I ordered my hickory burger cooked medium with fries (the other options were sweet potato fries, mashed potatoes, or cole slaw). The waitress was pleasant, taking our orders in a timely fashion. The burgers also came out promptly and was delicious. It was large and juicy with a very nice bun texture. The toppings on it (BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, and onion straws) were tasty compliments. The fries were crisp and tasted good. The waitress was also good about refilling our glasses and bringing our check. Needless to say, we will be adding this to our regular rotation for Monday lunches.

Parker's
We were headed to Cava Mezze for lunch today only to find out that that the one in Downtown Bethesda is Cava Grill which is more casual dining. Rather than having a set menu, it's more Chipotle -style ordering. We had our hopes up for the lunch menu that we had seen on their web site, particularly the Gyro sandwich with fries. Next door Parker's was advertising buy one burger, get the second one for 99 cents when purchasing two beverages every Monday. We did some quick math and decided that it was a good deal. Their regular burger with american cheese was $10, but for just a $1 more you could get the hickory or bayou burger which is what we opted for. Throw in ice tea to complete the requisites for the promo and it comes out to about $8 per person.
